Based on a true story, this movie shows one night in September 1982, when Christian militia massacred more than 3,000 Palestinian refugees in the heart of Beirut, while Israeli soldiers surrounded the area.
Folman was one of those soldiers but he doesn’t remember the events well and nearly 20 years after this happened, he hears a friend’s nightmare where he is chased down by 26 dogs.
They decide that it must be connected to what happened and Folman decides to go around the world and interview people that were there to unfold the memories.
When the movie continues Folman’s memory comes back to him and the truth about what happened will hunt him for the rest of his life.
