A criminal played by Mel Gibson has a car full of stolen money get arrested by the police in Mexico and sent to prison.
This is a western and action movie that most of it happens inside the prison. Mel Gibson becomes the champion of the town under the “Kid”, played by Dean Norris. The movie is full with shooting battles and chases with bad guys.
Gibson is in prison and suppose to fit in but he doesn’t.
There is some romantic development but it is mainly action and physical battles.
